We are delighted that our recent special collection days at Tesco stores in Ely and March brought in over 2.7 tonnes of donated food.
This is wonderful, and replenishes our stocks that were hitting an all time low in our warehouse. We are grateful to the public who donated items for our current shortage list, and so the majority of items helped where the need is greatest.
We continue to see demand at all our centres, with only a modest decrease compared with the previous year. We continue to meet people who are in crises and have never used a Foodbank before, so are grateful of these donations. Thankyou!
