Volunteer
Our volunteers help us to provide food and practical support to people left without enough money to live on.
Volunteers make a difference in the local community across a range of roles, including boosting donations, packing food parcels, providing a warm welcome, tackling loneliness, signposting to additional services, connecting with partners, raising awareness and leading projects.
Volunteer roles
If you want to volunteer, please email info@ely.foodbank.org.uk.
We need several different types of volunteers to help us, and training will be provided.

- Volunteer at our warehouse sorting and preparing our food bank parcels
- Drivers to collect our food donations and deliver food to our food bank sessions
- Volunteers to deliver emergency foodbank parcels if out clients are housebound
- Fundraising volunteers to help us raise funds
- Volunteers who can attend events and tell people about the food bank and the work we do
- Help with admin tasks and projects across the charity
